Project Description: I need 2 acrylic/perspex bookshelves shortened by cutting off the bottom rung of shelves. Needs to be done by Friday, 6th August or before. Sooner the better. Material is a 1-2cm thick acrylic / perspex. It needs a straight cut along the whole width of the bookshelves. Ideally you have a circular saw, angle grinder enable a flush cut, or plunge cutter to do the job with various blades as am not sure which blade is best to cut this acrylic (like thick perspex)or hopefully you have right blade and equipment to cut perspex / acrylic. Width of each shelf is 120cm. After shortening shelves, you need to stand them up and screw to cement wall so they are safely attached and won't fall over. Cutting with right equipment and blade should be very quick and easy. Shelves are very heavy and require 2 men and a flat dolley to stand up and move into place to fix to wall. Picture of shelves attached. They are too tall for new site that is why they need to be cut to shorten. Need this done ASAP!
